We believe that providing immediate and unrestricted access to research publications promotes innovation, collaboration, and the advancement of scientific understanding.

All articles published in Aro are available under the Creative Commons Attribution CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0 license. This license allows authors to retain copyright while granting others the freedom to remix, tweak, and build upon their work non-commercially, as long as proper credit is given and any new creations are licensed under identical terms. Commercial use of the publisher's PDF is subject to license fees. As a SHERPA/RoMEO blue publisher, Aro allows the final publisher's PDF to be posted on websites.

Aro's peer-review policy ensures that high-quality, peer-reviewed research articles are published, emphasizing the dissemination of new ideas and knowledge. By providing free and online access to these publications, we aim to maximize their distribution, enabling researchers worldwide to access, read, and build upon the research we publish. This approach cultivates a richer research culture and promotes good research ethics.

Unrestricted access to published materials on the Aro website is a fundamental part of our mission and contributes to the global academic community. We encourage authors to deposit all versions of their paper, including preprints, author's accepted manuscripts, and the published article (Version of Record), in institutional or subject repositories.

Specifically, Koya University supports the principles and objectives of Open Access and Open Science. Aro expects authors to seize opportunities to make their research results available for free access in their final peer-reviewed papers. All manuscripts will be made open access online shortly after the final stage of peer review is completed.

This Open Access Policy has been in effect since October 1, 2013, and will be reviewed within the first year of operation. Authors can utilize the open access route available at aro.koyauniversity.org for publishing and archiving their accepted papers.
